Radial endoscopic ultrasound is a diagnostic technique that allows for detailed internal ultrasound evaluation of digestive structures. The esophagus, stomach, pancreas, and biliary system are evaluated by combining endoscopy and ultrasound. This is a sedated endoscopic procedure similar to upper endoscopy that is performed in the hospital outpatient setting.
