Dr. Rengen is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, California. He completed his internship and internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Rengen completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Rengen works closely with his patients to help resolve their digestive disorders and guide them in ways to lead a healthier lifestyle and prevent future problems. Having performed countless procedures, he is highly qualified in all endoscopic procedures provided by PA GI. He is also certified in the HET System, a non-surgical device for the treatment of internal hemorrhoids.

Dr. Rengen has authored numerous medical publications, including clinical studies related to esophageal rings and improving gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures. He has participated in numerous gastroenterology workshops.

A father of two children and an exercise enthusiast, Dr. Rengen enjoys spending time with his family.
